On April 12, 2006, Ministry of Trade issued the Correspondent No. 2246/BTM-PC announcing the list of countries and territories having agreement on the most favoured-nation and special treatment in trade relations with Vietnam, in order to implement the Decree No. 94/1998/NĐ-CP dated November 17, 1998 by the Government detailing implementation of the Law on amendment of and supplement to a number of articles of the Import-Export Tax Law. On September 20, 2006, Ministry of Trade issued the Correspondent No. 5870/BTM-KV4 announcing the adding of to the list of countries having agreement on the most favoured-nation treatment with.
After has officially become a member of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Ministry of Trade would like to announce the list of countries and territories having agreement on the most favoured-nation (MFN) and preferential treatment in trade relations with as follows:
Appendix 1: List of countries and territories having agreement on the most favoured-nation treatment in commodity trade relations with .
Appendix 2: List of countries and territories having agreement on preferential treatment in trade relations with .
Imported goods originated from those countries specified in the Appendix 2, if have not been inluded in the list of goods subject to tax reduction that committed to, will be applied with the preferential export rate< p="">
