DECISION
ON THE AMENDMENT OF ARTICLE 15 OF THE REGULATION ON OPENING OF DEFERRED LETTER OF CREDIT FOR GOODS IMPORT ISSUED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DECISION NO. 711/2001/QD-NHNN DATED 25 MAY, 2001
THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK
Pursuant to the Law on the
State Bank of Vietnam No. 01/1997/QH10 dated 12 December, 1997;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 15 CP dated 2 March, 1993 of the Government on the
assignment, authority and responsibility for the State management of the
ministries, ministry-level agencies;
Upon the proposal of the Director of the Foreign Exchange Control
Department,
DECIDES
Article 1. To amend Article 15 of the Regulation on opening of deferred letter of credit for goods import issued in conjunction with the Decision No. 711/2001/QD-NHNN dated 25 May, 2001, specifically as follows:
"Article 15. Banks shall determine types of fees and specific level of fees for deferred L/C operation in accordance with banks' costs and the level of risk of this operation."
Article 2. This Decision shall be effective after 15days from the date of signing.
Article 3. The Director of the Administration Department of State Bank, Director of the Foreign Exchange Control Department, Heads of relevant units of the State Bank of Vietnam, General Managers of State Bank's branches of provinces, cities under central Government's management, General Directors (Directors) of credit institutions shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision.
