DECISION
ON THE AMENDMENT OF SEVERAL ARTICLES OF THE DECISION NO. 346/QD-NHNN DATED 13 FEBRUARY 2008 OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK ON THE REQUIRED ISSUANCE OF BILLS OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM
THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK
- Pursuant to the Law on the
State Bank of Vietnam issued in 1997 and the Law on the amendment, supplement
of several articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam issued in 2003;
- Pursuant to the Decree No. 96/2008/ND-CP dated 26/8/2008 of the Government
providing for the function, assignment, authority and organizational structure
of the State Bank of Vietnam;
- Upon the proposal of Director of Monetary Policy Department,
DECIDES:
Article 1. To amend Paragraph 7 of Article 1 in the Decision No. 346/QD-NHNN dated 13 February 2008 of the Governor of the State Bank on the required issuance of bills as follows: "It is authorized to mortgage bills required by State Bank to issue on 17 March 2008 for loan capital, authorized to discount them at State Bank and use them as an instrument for open market operations performed by the State Bank in accordance with applicable provisions".
Article 2. This Decision shall be effective from 1 October 2008.
Article 3. The Director of Administrative Department, Director of Monetary Policy Department, Heads of units of the State Bank of Vietnam, Chairman of Board of Directors and General Directors (Directors) of Credit Institutions shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision.
