PROMULGATING THE LIST OF LIKELY UNSAFE PRODUCTS AND GOODS UNDER THE MANAGEMENT OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 01 2008/ND-CP of January 3, 2008, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to the November 21, 2007 Law on Product and Goods Quality;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 132/2008/ND-CP of December 31, 2008, detailing a number of articles of the Law 'on Product and Goods Quality;
At the proposal of the director of the National Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department,
Article 1. To promulgate together with this Circular:
The list of likely unsafe products and goods under the management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (below referred to as the list of group-2 products and goods).
Article 2. General principles
1. The quality of products and goods on the list of group-2 products and goods provided together with this Circular shall be managed according to relevant national technical regulations promulgated by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
2. The quality of products and goods on the list of group-2 products and goods without relevant national technical regulations shall be managed under current regulations pending the promulgation of national technical regulations.
Article 3. Organization of implementation
1. This Circular takes effect 45 days from the date of its signing.
2. The list of group-2 products and goods shall be reviewed, modified and supplemented to meet management requirements. Any problems arising in the course of implementation should be promptly reported to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for settlement.
3. The director of the Ministry Office, the director of the National Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department, the director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, heads of units under the Ministry, state agencies involved in quality management of products and goods, and producers and traders of products and goods on the list of group-2 products and goods shall implement this Circular.
