DECISION
ON EXCEPTIONAL REGISTRATION OF FOUR PLANT PROTECTION DRUGS INTO THE LIST OF DRUGS PERMITTED FOR USE IN VIETNAM
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to the Government’s
Decree No.73/CP of November 1, 1995 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers
and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural
Development;
Pursuant to Articles 5, 28 and 29 of the Ordinance on Plant Protection and
Quarantine, promulgated on August 8, 2001;
At the proposals of the director of the Department for Science, Technology and
Product Quality and the director of the Department for Plant Protection,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To permit the exceptional registration of the following four drugs into the list of plant protection drugs permitted for use in Vietnam (see the list enclosed herewith).
Article 2.- The import and export of plant protection drugs on the list promulgated together with this Decision shall comply with Circular No.62/2001/TT-BNN of June 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development guiding the export and import of goods subject to the specialized management by the agriculture service according to the Prime Minister’s Decision No.46/2001/QD-TTg of April 4, 2001 on the goods export and import management in the 2001-2005 period.
Article 3.- This Decision takes effect 15 days after its signing.
The Department for Plant Protection shall have to guide in detail the safe and effective use of the above-said plant protection drugs.
Article 4.- The director of the Ministry’s Office, the director of the Plant Protection Department, the director of the Department for Science, Technology and Product Quality, the heads of the units under the Ministry and organizations and individuals at home and foreigners that manage, produce, trade in and use plant protection drugs in Vietnam shall have to implement this Decision.
