DECISION

ON UPGRADING THE INTERMEDIATE TEACHERS' TRAINING SCHOOLS OF QUANG BINH, HOA BINH AND PHU YEN PROVINCES INTO TEACHERS' COLLEGES

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decree No.90-CP of November 24, 1993 of the Government providing for the framework structure of the national education system, the system of educational and training certificates and diplomas of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to Decree No.15-CP of March 2, 1992 of the Government on the tasks, powers and State-management responsibility of the Ministries and ministerial-level Agencies;
At the proposals of the Minister of Education and Training, the Presidents of the People's Committees of Quang Binh, Hoa Binh and Phu Yen provinces,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To upgrade the Intermediate Teachers' Training Schools of Quang Binh, Hoa Binh and Phu Yen provinces into Teachers' Colleges.

Article 2.- The Teachers' Colleges mentioned in Article 1 of this Decision have the tasks of training and fostering teachers for general education schools of Quang Binh, Hoa Binh and Phu Yen provinces at college level, conducting educational researches to meet the requirement for developing and raising the quality of the general education in the above-mentioned localities.

Article 3.- The Teachers' Colleges mentioned in Article 1 shall be entitled to policies and regulations issued by the State regarding the universities and colleges.

Article 4.- This Decision takes effect from the date of its signing.

Article 5.- The Minister of the Education and Training, the Ministers and the Heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of the agencies attached to the Government, the Presidents of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision.
