ANNOUNCEMENT
ON ADMINISTRATION ON TEXTILE AND APPAREL EXPORTS TO THE UNITED STATES IN 2007
Pursuant to inter-ministry of trade and industry Circular No.
03/2007/TTLT/BTM/BCN dated 28/2/2007
providing guidance on monitoring Vietnamese textile and apparel exports to the
United States (hereinafter referred to as Export);
To implement the Prime Minister’s instructions in the Official Document No.
147/VPCP-QHQT dated 14/2/2007 by the Government Office on Export Monitoring
Programme ;
At the request of Vietnam Textile and Garment Association;
The inter-ministry of trade and industry hereby announces the administration of
Export as follows:
1.From June 22nd 2007 exports to the United States of categories stipulated in I.2 of interministerial Circular No 03/2007/TTLT/BTM/BCN dated 28/2/2007 are no longer subject to export licensing requirements.
2.Export Licences for those shipments leaving Vietnamese ports before June 22nd 2007 shall be granted by Local Export and Import Offices until July 15th 2007.
Local Export and Import Offices and relevant enterprises are responsible for carrying out this Announcement.
