ANNOUNCEMENT

ON IMPORT WINE, COSMETIC, MOBILE TELEPHONE

For safeguarding of rights and healthy of customers, preventing from import fake goods, goods have bad quality and increasing against fraud trade;

To implement regulation of the January 23, 2006 Decree No.12/2006/ND-CP of the Government specifying on international purchases and sales of goods and agency for sale and purchase, processing and transit of goods involving foreign parties

Beside of current provisions on import, the Ministry of Industry and Trade guides more on procedures for import goods such as wine, cosmetic, mobile telephone, except of luggage brought together with immigrating person, as the following:

1. Regarding to import dossier

Beside of documents presenting to Customs agency when conduct import procedures under current provisions, trader must  present assigning paper or authorization paper as distributor, importer of major production or business firm or agency contract of major production or business firm of the goods. These documents must be consular legalized by overseas diplomatic representative agency of Vietnam under provisions of law.

2. Regarding to import gate

Traders may only conduct procedures for import and clearance at international seaports: Hai Phong, Da Nang, HCM city.

3. The Ministry of Industry and Trade suggests ministries, branches, localities to guide traders to implement rightly above content and increase work of examining, inspecting and handling strictly violations under authorities.

4. The Ministry of Industry and Trade suggests the Financial Ministry directing the General Customs coordinate to implement well the content and reflect problems to The Ministry of Industry and Trade for solving timely.

5. The time-limit of implementation the guidelines and procedures above shall begin from June 01, 2011.
