NOTICE
ON THE PRIME MINISTER’S CONCLUSIONS AT THE MEETING ABOUT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DECREE NO. 84/2009/ND-CP ON PETROL AND OIL TRADING
On September 26, 2011, at Government’s headquarter; the Prime Minister took the prime meeting on the implementation of the Decree No. No. 84/2009/ND-CP dated October 15, 2009 of the Government on petrol and oil trading. Deputy Ministers: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Mr. Vu Van Ninh, Mr. Hoang Trung Hai; the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Industry and Trade; Ministers, Chairman of Office Government, Mr. Truong Dinh Tuyen, Member of National Advisory Council for Financial and Monetary
Policies also attend the meeting. After reports of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Industry and Trade, as well as contribution opinions from Deputy Ministers, the Prime Minister has opinions as follows:
1. The Government has directed and controlled petrol and oil sale
prices to subject to the state-controlled market mechanism in accordance with regulations at the Decree No. 84/2009/ND-CP dated October 15, 2009 of the Government on petrol and oil trading. The control of petrol and oil sale prices in the next time must be followed strictly right to regulations at this Decree; factors to set the petrol and oil retail price, expenses and business results must be public and announced clearly. The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade must coordinate closely and take prime responsibilities in investigating, supervising the adjustments among enterprises, make price plans which are applied public in accordance with regulations.
2. Enterprises in petrol and oil trading will adjust petrol and oil retail
prices in accordance with regulations in the Decree No. 184/2009/ND-CP dated October 15, 2009 of the Government. 3. Relevant agencies always coordinate in managing and control petrol
and oil prices in accordance with current regulations; actively solve difficulties in arising problems; over-authorization, report and propose to the Prime Minister promptly to be timely solved, bad fluctuations and effects on consumer’s benefits are not allowed.
The Office Government would like to announce to relevant agencies for acknowledgement and implementation./.
