CIRCULAR

LIST OF INFECTIOUS MICROORGANISMS SORTED BY THREAT CATEGORY AND BIOSAFETY LEVEL SUITABLE FOR THEIR TESTING METHODS

Pursuant to the Law on Prevention of infectious diseases dated November 21, 2007;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 103/2016/ND-CP dated July 01, 2016 on biosafety of laboratories;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 63/2012/ND-CP dated August 31, 2012 defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

At the request of Director of General Department of Preventive Medicine,

The Minister of Health promulgates the list of infectious microorganisms sorted by threat category and biosafety level suitable for their testing methods.

Article 1. List of infectious microorganisms sorted by threat category and biosafety level suitable for their testing methods

The List of infectious microorganisms sorted by threat category and biosafety level suitable for their testing methods is promulgated together and with enclosed with this Circular.

Article 2. Effect

1. This Circular comes into force from January 01, 2017.

2. Circular No. 07/2012/TT-BYT dated May 14, 2012 of The Minister of Health promulgating the lists of infectious microorganisms sorted by threat category and biosafety level suitable for their testing methods is annulled from the effective date of this Circular.

Difficulties that arise during the implementation of this Circular should be reported to the Ministry of Health (General Department of Preventive Medicine) for consideration./.
