DECISION
ON GRANTING VISAS FOR TEXTILES AND GARMENTS TO BE EXPORTED TO THE UNITED STATES
THE MINISTER OF TRADE
Pursuant
to the Government's Decree No. 95/CP dated December 4, 1993 defining the
functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Trade;
In implementing the direction of the Prime Minister at Dispatch No. 669/CP-KTTH
dated May 21, 2003 on the deployment of the Vietnam- US Agreement on Textiles
and Garments;
At the proposal of the Director of Import and Export Department,
DECIDES:
Article 1. To authorize the Import Export Management Bureaus of Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau and Dong Nai to grant VISAs for textiles and garments to be exported to the US.
Article 2. The Head of Office, the Director of the Organization-Personnel Department, the Director of the Import Export Department, the Import Export Management Bureaus of the regions and enterprises engaging in export of textiles and garments to the US shall have to implement this Decision.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect as July 1, 2003.
