DECISION
ON THE GENERAL SURVEY OF THE ECONOMIC, ADMINISTRATIVE AND PUBLIC SERVICE ESTABLISHMENTS
THE PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government on the 30th of September 1992;
In order to have a basis for evaluating the real socio-economic situation, and elaborating the plan and strategy for socio-economic development in the five years from 1996 to 2000;
At the proposal of the General Director of the General Statistical Department,
DECIDES :
Article 1.- To conduct a general survey of the economic establishments in all economic sectors, the administrative and public service agencies operating throughout the country (except the economic establishments of the branches of agriculture, forestry and fisheries which were already surveyed in 1994).
The contents of the survey consist of :
- The common and general indicators of the economic, administrative and public service establishments (name of establishment, address, form of operation, branch of activity, economic sector...)
- A number of indicators concerning labor and finance, (labor force, wages and incomes of the laborers, capital, turnover, tax, profits, losses...).
Article 2.- The general survey begins on the 1st of July 1995. In October 1995, the General Statistical Department shall submit a report on the preliminary general results (summary) in service of the elaboration of the socio-economic development plan and strategy for the five years 1996-2000. The results of the general survey shall be made public at the end of the second quarter of 1996.
Article 3.- The General Director of the General Statistical Department is assigned to preside over and, together with the ministries, branches and localities concerned, to perfect the plan and proposed budget for the general survey, and submit it to the Prime Minister for approval.
Article 4.- This Decision takes effect on the date of its signing.
Article 5.- The Ministers, the Heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of the agencies attached to the Government, the Presidents of the People's Committees in the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government shall have to implement this Decision.
