DECISION
ON THE ORGANIZATION OF THE TRADITION DAY OF THE AQUACULTURAL SERVICE ON THE 1ST OF APRIL EACH YEAR
THE PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government on the 30th of
September 1992;
In order to initiate, among the
officials and employees of the aquacultural service and fishermen, a movement
of emulation in production and building the aquacultural service into a major
and strong branch, in implementation of the teaching of President Ho Chi Minh
when he visited a fishing village in April 1959;
At the proposal of the Minister of Aquatic Resources,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- Every year, the first day of April shall be observed as "Tradition Day of the Aquacultural Service", beginning in 1995, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the service.
Article 2.- The contents and requirements of the Tradition Day of the Aquacultural Service consist in :
- Cultivating the revolutionary sentiments, the love for the native land, the country and the profession among the officials and employees of the aquacultural service, and fishermen.
- To stimulate the movement of enthusiastic labor in production and building a major and strong aquacultural service, to contribute to the defense of the security of the sea areas, and building a beautiful and prosperous country.
- To commend and reward in appropriate forms those organizations and individuals with meritorious achievements in the building of the service, in productive labor and exemplary conduct in the execution of the undertakings and policies of the Party and State.
The organization of the annual Tradition Day of the Aquacultural Service must be practical and effective, and bring positive results through diversified activities, in order to become a fine cultural custom among the people. All ostentation and wastefulness must be avoided.
Article 3.- The Minister of Aquatic Resources shall guide the implementation of this Decision according to the contents and requirements stated in Article 2.
Article 4.- The concerned ministers, the heads of the concerned ministerial-level agencies, and agencies attached to the Government, the Presidents of the People's Committees in the concerned provinces and cities directly under the Central Government shall have to implement this Decision.
