DECISION
ON NATIONAL SET OF CRITERIA ON NEW RURAL DEVELOPMENT
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization December 25, 2001 ;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 24/2008/NQ-CP October 28, 2008 of the Government issued Action Program of the Government's implementation of Resolution of the 7th Conference of Central Committee of the 10th Plenum on agriculture, farmers and rural areas;
At the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development,
DECIDE:
Article 1. Issued together with national set of criteria for new countryside. Set of criteria as a basis for design the national targeted program on new rural development; provide guidelines to pilot models of rural development in the period of accelerated industrialization, modernization; inspection and accreditation of communes, districts and provinces achieving new rural development target.
The National Set of criteria will be adjusted consistent with economic and social conditions of the country and for a certain period.
Article 2. Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with ministries, branches and People's Committees of provinces and cities under central authority to guide and implement the this Decision.
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinate with the other relevant ministries to issue regulations for public review and recognition of local (commune, district, Province) achieving the standard of " new countryside ".
Article 3. This decision takes effect after its signing.
Article 4. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government agencies, and presidents Committees of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government shall implement this decision.
