DECISION

PROMULGATING THE TABLE OF INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LEASED CIRCUIT (IPLC)

MINISTER OF MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELEMATICS

In accordance with Decree 90/2002/ND-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government regulating the functions, duties, range of competence and organizational structure of the Ministry of Posts and Telematics (MPT);
In accordance with Decision 99/1998/QD-TTg dated May 26, 1998 of the Prime Minister governing the management of posts and telecommunications tariffs and charges;
- In accordance with Circular 03/1999/TT-TCBD dated May 11, 1999 of the Department General of Posts and Telecommunications (DGPT) providing guidance to the implementation of Decree 109/1997/ND-CP dated November 12, 1997 of the Government concerning the posts and telecommunications sector, and Decision 99/1998/QD-TTg dated May 26, 1998 of the Prime Minister governing the management of posts and telecommunications tariffs and charges;
At the proposal of the Director of the Planning-Finance Department,

HEREBY DECIDES:

Article 1. Attached to this decision is the table of IPLC charges.

Article 2. This decision comes into force on April 1, 2003 and replaces Decision 26/2002/QD-BBCVT dated December 18, 2002 of the Minister of MPT governing the issuance of the IPLC tariff table.

Article 3. Chiefs of Offices, Director of the Planning-Finance Department, directors of units under MPT; general directors, directors of enterprises providing telecommunications circuit leasing service, and directors of related units are due to implement this decision.

INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LEASED CIRCUIT (IPLC) TARIFF TABLE

1. Monthly charge (Vietnam side - haft circuit):

1.1. Circuit leasing charge via submarine cable:

Note:

- Area 1 includes: Japan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan and South Korea

- Area 2 is the remainder of the world.

1.2 International circuit leasing charge via satellite::

- Circuit leasing charge via satellite is not differentiated according to areas.

- Circuit leasing via submarine is charged as the charge of area 1 of the circuit leasing via submarine cable regulated in 1.1.

3. Circuit leasing charge for domestic extension:

3.1. The inter-provincial long-distance circuit leasing charge (if there is) is applied as the domestic telecoms circuit leasing tariff table regulated by the Minister of MPT.

3.2. The inner-provincial circuit leasing charge (inner-provincial and domestic) circuit leasing charge is uniformly applied as the domestic long-distance circuit leasing charge.

4. General directors and directors of service providing enterprises are allowed to set specific levels of charges within the framework set herein.

5. The above charges have not included value added tax (VAT).
