DECISION
TO ESTABLISH THE VAN LANG PEOPLE-FUNDED UNIVERSITY
THE PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government on
the 30th of September 1992;
Pursuant to Decree 15-CP on the 2nd of March 1993 on the tasks, powers and
responsibilities for State management of the Ministries and ministerial level
agencies;
At the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training (No. 7128-TCCB on the
13th of October 1994),
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To allow the establishment of the Van Lang People-Funded University (Ho Chi Minh City).
Article 2.- The Van Lang People-Funded University is a higher education training institution placed under the State management of the Ministry of Education and Training. It has the legal person status, its own seal and bank account.
The system of diplomas issued by the Van Lang People-Funded University belongs to the system of national diplomas.
Article 3.- The Van Lang People-Funded University is organized and operates according to law, the Regulation on People-Funded Universities issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, and its own Statute approved by the Minister of Education and Training.
Article 4.- The Minister of Education and Training, the other Ministers, the Heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of the agencies attached to the Government, and the Presidents of the People's Committees of the concerned provinces and cities directly under the Central Government, are responsible for the implementation of this Decision.
