DECISION
ARRANGING A NUMBER OF ORGANIZATIONS ALREADY ESTABLISHED UNDER THE PRIME MINISTER’S DECISIONS
THE PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Government’s Plan for Implementation of the Resolution of the 7th Plenum of the Party’s Central Committee (VIIIth Congress), issued together with the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 207/1999/QD-TTg of October 25th, 1999;
At the proposals of the Minister-Head of the Government Commission for Organization and Personnel and the Minister-Director of the Government Office,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To dissolve the following organizations:
1. The National Coordinating Committee for Internet network in Vietnam, established under the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 136/TTg of March 5, 1997.
2. The State Science Council on Safety of Hoa Binh Hydro-Electric Power Plant, established under the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 607/TTg of September 27, 1995.
3. The Steering Committee for the implementation of the project for investment and construction of the Culture-Tourism Villages of Vietnamese Ethnicities, established under the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 135/QD-TTg of March 3, 1998.
Article 2.-
1. To assign the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment to perform the tasks of the organizations mentioned in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 1 of this Decision. The Minister of Science, Technology and Environment shall decide the establishment of an advisory organization to help him, which may use the apparatus of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment for the performance of these tasks.
2. To assign the Ministry of Culture and Information to perform the tasks of the organization mentioned in Clause 3, Article 1 of this Decision. The Minister of Culture and Information shall decide the establishment of an advisory organization to help him, which may use the apparatus of the Ministry of Culture and Information for the performance of this task.
Article 3.- This Decision takes effect 15 days after its signing.
The ministers, the heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the heads of the agencies attached to the Government, the presidents of the People’s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities shall have to implement this Decision.
