In furtherance of provision in the Government’s Resolution No. 05/2008/NQ-CP dated February 04, 2008, regarding “Not licensing newly for circulation of the three-wheel motor vehicles” and directions of Deputy Minister Hoang Trung Hai (at document No. 1719/VPCP-CN dated March 19, 2008 of Government’s office), the Ministry of Transport requests the Vietnam Register.
1. Stop the examination over quality, technical safety and environmental protection for three-wheel motor vehicles from May 01, 2008 (except for motor vehicles used as means of travel of invalids and disabled persons).
2. From now to the time mentioned above, further examine quality, technical safety and environmental protection for the imported three-wheel motor vehicles, three-wheel motor vehicles produced and assembled domestically in accordance with regulation, three-wheel motor vehicles of import enterprises already arrived border-gate before February 26, 2008 (the effective date of the Resolution No. 05/2008/NQ-CP)
3. When detect expression of commercial fraudulence (during examination), timely notify competent agencies for consideration and handling.
