On the proposal of Vietnam Titanium Association (Official Dispatch No. 88/2010/VP-HH dated October 08, 2010), suggestions of Ministries: the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Official Dispatch No. 12562/BCT-CNNg dated December 14, 2010), the Ministry of Finance (Official Dispatch No. 16821/BTC-CST dated December 10, 2010), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (Official Dispatch No. 5321/BTNMT-ĐCKS dated December 31, 2010) about titanium export. The Deputy Minister, Mr. Hoang Trung Hai, has suggestions as following:
1. Approval on export regulations on ilmenite extracts and other products to the end of 2011 after balancing domestic demands.
2. The Ministry of Industry and Trade:
- Presiding and co-operating with People’s Committees of relevant provinces and cities, Vietnam Titanium Association directs enterprises in hastening investments in factories producing deep titanium and making production on schedule.
- Checking each authorized enterprises in exploring titanium, who have been investing in deep production factories, having stored titanium, collecting export titanium amount and submitting to the Prime Minister for reviewing and deciding.
3. Titanium export tax rate complies with current legal regulations.
The Government Office informs relevant agencies for implementation./.
