Respectfully to: The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs
At the proposal of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in the Report No. 72/TTr-LDTBXH of November 08, 2012 on conversion of the off days at weekend in the occasion of holidays, Tet 2013 apply to cadres, civil servants, public employees, the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung had opinion as follows:
1. To agree with suggest of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on conversion of the off days at weekend in the occasion of holidays, Tet 2013 apply to cadres, civil servants, public employees in the Report No. 72/TTr-LDTBXH of November 08, 2012 as follows:
a) On occasion of new year: to have an off day on Monday, December 31, 2012 and put in compensating work on Saturday, January 05, 2013
b) On occasion of Lunar New Year: to have an off day on Friday, February 15, 2013 and put in compensating work on Saturday, February 23, 2013.
c) On holidays for Victory Day and International Labor Day: to have an off day on Monday, April 29, 2013 and put in compensating work on Saturday, May 04, 2013.
The agencies, organizations which do not implement fixed-weekly holiday calendar for 02 days consisting of Saturday and Sunday, shall base on specific program, plan of units to arrange holiday calendar for conformity.
2. To authorize the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in notification on implementation of conversion of off days in holidays, Tet 2013 at the point 1 above.
The Office of Government inform the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs for knowledge and implementation.
