RESOLUTION

ON ESTABLISHMENT OF TU SON CITY AFFILIATED TO BAC NINH PROVINCE

STANDING COMMITTEE OF NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

Pursuant to the Law on Governmental Organization No. 77/2015/QH13, amended by the Law No. 21/2017/QH14 and the Law No. 47/2019/QH14;

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of People’s Courts No. 62/2014/QH13;

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of People’s Procuracy No. 63/2014/QH13;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 1211/2016/UBTVQH13 dated May 25, 2016 of the Standing Committee of National Assembly on standards and classification of administrative divisions;

At the request of the Government in the Statement No. 294/TTr-CP dated August 17, 2021, the Supreme People’s Court in the Statement No. 469/TTr-TANDTC dated August 26, 2021, the People’s Procuracy in the Statement No. 14/TTr-VKSTC dated August 30, 2021, the Committee of Justice in the Report on assessment No. 80/BC-UBTP15 dated August 27, 2021 and the Report on assessment No. 142/BC-UBPL15 dated September 10, 2021 of the Legal Committee.

HEREBY RESOLVES:

Article 1. Establishment of Tu Son city affiliated to Bac Ninh province

1. Establish Tu Son City from 61.08 km2 of natural area and population size of 202,874 people of Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province.

Tu Son City borders Tien Du district, Yen Phong district and Hanoi city.

2. After the establishment of Tu Son city affiliated to Bac Ninh province:

a) Tu Son city has 12 wards;

b) Bac Ninh province has 8 district-level administrative divisions, including 6 districts and 2 cities; 126 commune-level administrative divisions, including 89 communes, 31 wards and 6 towns.

Article 2. Establishment of People’s Court, People’s Procuracy of Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province

1. Establish People’s Court of Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province from People’s Court of Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province.

2. Establish People’s Procuracy of Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province from People’s Procuracy of Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province.

Article 3. Entry in force

This Resolution comes into force as of November 1, 2021.

Article 4. Implementation

1. The Government, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province and relevant bodies shall implement this Resolution; strengthen the apparatus of local agencies; maintain stable lives of local residents, meet requirements for socio-economy, national defense and security in the administrative division.

2. Chief Judge of the Supreme’s People’s Court, Chief Procurator of the Supreme’s People’s Procuracy, within their tasks and powers, decide organizational apparatus, employees on state regular payroll, number of judges, procurators, other public employees and workers of People’s Court, People’s Procuracy of Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province as prescribed.

3. Agencies, organizations and units with the names associated with Tu Son town shall complete the name change to Tu Son city from effective date of this Resolution./.
