DECISION
PROMULGATING THE TABLE OF FEES FOR QUOTAS ON EXPORT OF TEXTILES AND GARMENTS INTO THE EU AND CANADIAN MARKETS
THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
Pursuant to the Governments Decree No. 15/CP of March 2,
1993, on the tasks, powers and state management responsibilities of ministries
and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to the Governments Decree No. 178/CP of October 28, 1994, on the
tasks, powers and organizational apparatus of the Ministry of Finance;
Pursuant to the Governments Decree No. 57/2002/ND-CP of June 3, 2002,
detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on Charges and Fees;
After obtaining opinions of the Ministry of Trade (Official Letter No.
1334/TM-XNK of August 5, 2002);
At the proposal of the General Department of Taxation,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To issue together with this Decision the Table of rates of fees for quotas on export of textiles and garments into the EU and Canadian markets.
Article 2.- Fee rates defined in Article 1 of this Decision apply to the subjects specified in Section I, Circular No. 93/TT/LB of November 7, 1994, of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Trade.
Article 3.- Agencies collecting fees for quotas on export of textiles and garments into the EU and Canadian markets shall register, declare and remit fees into the State budget, manage and use the withheld amounts they are permitted to retain according to the Finance Ministrys Circular No. 63/2002/TT-BTC of July 24, 2002, guiding the implementation of the provisions of laws on charges and fees and Circular No. 111/2000/TT-BTC of November 21, 2000, guiding the management and use of fees for quotas on export of textiles and garments into the EU and Canadian markets; and fees for the grant of permits for setting up representative offices of foreign economic organization in Vietnam.
Article 4.- This Decision takes effect after its signing and applies to the collection of fees for quotas on export of textiles and garments into the EU and Canadian markets from 2003. Decisions on the collection of quotas on export of textiles and garments into the EU and Canadian markets, which are contrary to this Decision, are hereby annulled.
Article 5.- Payers of fees for quotas on export of textiles and garments into the EU and Canadian markets, units assigned to collect fees and relevant agencies shall have to implement this Decision.
