ORDINANCE
AMENDING ARTICLE 21 OF THE ORDINANCE ON PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT OF REVOLUTIONARIES, FALLEN HEROES AND THEIR FAMILIES, WAR INVALIDS, DISEASED SOLDIERS, RESISTANCE WAR ACTIVISTS AND PEOPLE WITH MERITORIOUS SERVICES TO THE REVOLUTION
Pursuant to Article 91 of the
1992 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
This Ordinance amends Article 21 of the Ordinance of August 29, 1994 on
Preferential Treatment of Revolutionaries, Fallen Heroes and their Families,
War Invalids, Diseased Soldiers, Resistance War Activists and People with
Meritorious Services to the Revolution, which has been amended by Ordinance No.
08/1998/PL-UBTVQH10 of December 1st, 1998.
Article 1.- To amend Article 21 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment of Revolutionaries, Fallen Heroes and their Families, War Invalids, Diseased Soldiers, Resistance War Activists and People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution as follows:
"Article 21.- Resistance war activists are entitled to enjoy lumpsum allowance calculated according to their respective seniority duration.
The Government shall specify the levels and time-limits for the payment of lumpsum allowance."
Article 2.- To annul Ordinance No. 08/1998/PL-UBTVQH10 of December 1st, 1998 amending Article 21 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment of Revolutionaries, Fallen Heroes and their Families, War Invalids, Diseased Soldiers, Resistance War Activists and People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution.
The previous regulations contrary to this Ordinance are all now annulled.
Article 3.- The Government shall detail and guide the implementation of this Ordinance.
