DECISION
RE: PROMULGATION OF THE LIST OF PRODUCTS AND VIETNAM’S SPECIAL PREFERENTIAL IMPORT DUTY RATES FOR 2006 IN IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ASEAN – CHINA TRADE IN GOODS AGREEMENT
MINISTER OF FINANCE
Pursuant to Decree 86/2002/ND-CP
dated november 5, 2002 by the Government detailing functions, tasks, powers and
organization of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant
to Decree 77/2003/ND-CP dated July 1, 2003 by the Government on functions,
tasks, powers and organization of the Ministry of Finance;
Pursuant
to Decree 11 of Decree 149/2005/ND-CP dated December 8, 2005 by the Government
detailing implementation of ex/import duty law 45/2005/QH11 dated June 14,
2005;
Pursuant
to the Trade in Goods Agreement under the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive
Economic Cooperation between ASEAN and China (also known as the ASEAN – China
Trade in Goods Agreement) signed on November 29, 2004 in Laos and the Vietnam –
China Memorandum of Understanding on a number of issues on the ASEAN – China
Trade in Goods Agreement signed on July 18, 2005 in China and approved by the
Prime Minister in Decision 257/2005/QD-TTg dated October 19, 2005;
Pursuant
to guidelines by the Prime Minister in Circular 216/VPCP-QHQT dated March 17,
2006 by the Governmental Office;
Upon on
proposals by relevant Ministries, industries and the Director of the
International Cooperation Department,
HEREBY DECIDES:
Article 1. The List of products and Vietnam’s special preferential duty rates in implementation of the ASEAN – China Trade in Goods Agreement (Vietnam’s ACFTA duty rates) for 2006 is attached.
Article 2. The Decision will be effective in 15 days after it is publicized in the Gazette and applicable to customs declaration on imports of goods dated as of January 1, 2006.
