RESOLUTION

ADJUSTING THE 2008 LAW- AND ORDINANCE-MAKING PROGRAM

THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the 1992 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which was amended and supplemented under Resolution No. 54/2001/QH10;
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the National Assembly;
Pursuant to the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents;
At the proposal of the Government and on the basic of the Law Committees verification report on the adjustment of the 2008 law- and ordinance-making program,

RESOLVES:

Article 1. To adjust the 2008 law- and ordinance-making program as follows:

I. TO ADD THE FOLLOWING BILLS TO THE PROGRAM TO BE CONSIDERED AND PASSED BY THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AT ITS 3RD SESSION:

1. The Bill Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Petroleum Law:

2. The Resolution on pilot permission for foreigners to buy and own dwelling houses for definite periods in Vietnam:

II. TO WITHDRAW THE FOLLOWING BILLS FROM THE PROGRAM TO BE CONSIDERED AND PASSED BY THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AT ITS 3RD SESSION:

1. The Bill Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Civil Code (provisions on credit institutions interest rates for capital raising and lending);

2. The Bill Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Vietnam Fatherland Front;

3. The Bill Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation;

III. TO WITHDRAW THE FOLLOWING BILLS FROM THE 2008 LAW- AND ORDINANCE-MAKING PROGRAM:

1. The Bill on Vietnam State Bank (amended):

2. The Bill on Credit Institutions (amended).

Article 2.

To assign the National Assembly Standing Committee to direct the implementation of the adjusted 2008 law- and ordinance-making program.

This Resolution was adopted on May 6, 2008, by the XIIth National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 3rd session.
