CIRCULAR
PROMULGATION OF THE LIST OF INSECTICIDAL AND MICROBICIDAL CHEMICALS AND PRODUCTS IN HOUSEHOLD AND MEDICAL SECTORS WHICH ARE PERMITTED FOR REGISTRATION AND USE, PERMITTED FOR REGISTRATION AND RESTRICTED USE AND PROHIBITED IN VIETNAM
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 188/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007 on functions, missions, authority and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 22/2010/ND-CP dated March 09, 2010 on amendments to Article 3 of the Government’s Decree No. 188/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007 on functions, missions, authority and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to the Decision No. 3486/2001/QD-BYT dated August 13, 2001 by Minister of Health on promulgation of the list of insecticidal and microbicidal chemicals and products in household and medical sectors;
At the request of the Head of the Health Environment Management Agency.
Article 1. List of chemicals and products for household and medical uses
1. This Circular is enclosed with these lists:
a) Insecticidal and microbicidal chemicals and products that are prohibited from household and medical uses;
b) Insecticidal and microbicidal chemicals and products that can be registered for restricted household and medical uses;
c) Insecticidal and microbicidal chemicals and products that can be registered for household and medical uses;
2. Chemicals not defined in the lists as stated in Section 1 of this Article shall be considered by the Ministry of Health on case basis.
Article 2. Implementation
1. This Circular comes into force as of September 01, 2011.
2. Decision No. 18/2008/QD-BYT dated May 16, 2008 by Minister of Health on promulgation of the list of insecticidal and microbicidal chemicals and products that are permissible for registered use, registered use with limitations and are prohibited in household and medical sectors in Vietnam in 2008.
Difficulties shall be reported to the Ministry of Health (Health Environment Management Agency) for solutions./.
