CIRCULAR

TO PROMULGATE THE LIST OF DRUGS, CHEMICALS, ANTIBIOTICS BANNED FOR USES, LIMITED TO USE.

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated 03/01/2008 regulating the functions, legal power and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to the Veterinary Ordinance issued on 29/4/2004
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 33/2005/ND-CP dated 15/032005 stipulating the implementation of a number of Articles in the Veterinary Ordinance;

1. Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgated:

- The list of chemicals, antibiotics banned for manufacturing, trading in aquaculture (Appendix 1)

- The list of drugs, chemicals, and antibiotics banned for veterinary uses (Appendix 2)

- The list of chemicals, antibiotics limited for manufacturing, trading in aquaculture (Appendix 3)

- The list of drugs, chemicals, and antibiotics limited for veterinary uses (Appendix 4)

2. This Circular comes into force in 45 days from a signed date. This Circular replaced the Decision No. 07/2005/QD-BTS dated 24/02/2005 of Head of the Ministry of Fishery to promulgate the list of chemicals, antibiotics banned for manufacturing, trading in aquaculture; the Decision 26/2005/QD-BTS dated 18/08/2005 of the Head of Ministry of Fishery to implement the list of antibiotics, Fluoroquinolones group banned for manufacturing, trading in aquaculture exporting to the U.S and North of America; Decision No. 41/2008/QD-BNN dated 05/03/2008 of Head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to promulgate the list of veterinary drugs limited for circulation, prohibited to use in Viet Nam in 2008.

3. Chief of Secretariat, Head of the Department of Animal Health, the relative agencies; Director of

Sub-Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; domestic/foreign organizations and individuals that have relative activities for manufacturing and trading in aquaculture , manufacturing and trading in veterinary medicines are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
