CIRCULAR

PROMULGATING “AN ADDITIONAL LIST OF LIVESTOCK BREEDS ELIGIBLE FOR PRODUCTION AND TRADING IN VIETNAM”

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 199/2013/NĐ-CP dated November 26, 2013 defining the functions, tasks, entitlements and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Livestock Breed No.16/2004/PL-UBTVQH dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

At the request of the Director of the Department of Livestock Production;

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgates an additional list of livestock breeds eligible for production and trading in Vietnam”.

Article 1. Enclosed herewith is an additional list of livestock breeds eligible for production and trading in Vietnam including:

1. Chicken breed: VCN-Z15;

2. Duck breed: Greater scaup (15-Dai Xuyên), Duck TsN15-Dai Xuyen;

3. Pig breed: VCN-MS15;

Article 2. This Circular takes effect since August 08, 2014;

Article 3. Chief of the Ministry Office, Director General of the Department of Livestock Production, Director General of Department of Animal Health, Director General of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, directors of the Service of Agriculture and Rural Development of central-affiliated cities and provinces, heads of units affiliated to Ministries and relevant organizations, individuals shall be responsible for executing this Circular./.
